ZONE 518 Celebrates Grand Opening in Albany

Holographic worlds and interactive AR adventures have arrived in the Capital Region with the opening of ZONE 518, Albany’s newest immersive entertainment destination. Founded by Ace Blackburn, a former Google employee, ZONE 518 was inspired by the exciting attractions Ace and her family experienced while traveling and brought home to share with the community.

Designed to spark connection and create unforgettable moments, ZONE 518 features an immersive holographic theatre that accommodates up to 25 guests, surrounding them in a shared virtual world. The venue also offers augmented reality team adventures and escape rooms, combining cutting-edge technology with teamwork and fun for visitors of all ages.

The Capital Region Chamber was thrilled to host a ribbon cutting ceremony in celebration of ZONE 518’s grand opening, joining Ace Blackburn, her family, Chamber Ambassadors, and community members to mark this exciting addition to Albany’s entertainment scene.
