The Resourceful Women’s Awards were established in 2000, to recognize and honor women whose community and professional pursuits advance the empowerment of women, a core element of YWCA of the Greater Capital Region’s mission. ”We are honored and proud to recognize this year’s honorees,” said Daquetta Jones, YWCA-GCR Executive Director.

In addition to honoring Nathaalie Carey as the Woman of the Year and fourteen honorees, the Awards Luncheon will recognize the 2018 Woman of Inspiration and Community Partner Award recipient.  It is with deep gratitude that YWCA-GCR recognizes SEFCU as the 2018 Community Partner awardee for their priceless work, compassion, contribution and commitment to YWCA-GCR’s mission, services and programs. The community awards recognizes organizations, corporations and individuals whose generous, tireless, caring, supportive spirits and expertise have provided significant financial contributions and tangible goods to YWCA-GCR over the years.
