July 5, 2022YWCA of Northeastern NY Ribbon Cutting for New Facility in Schenectady County
YWCA of Northeastern NY CEO Kim Siciliano cut the ribbon to dedicate a new facility in Schenectady County supporting those affected by Domestic Violence on June 15. Because it is a shelter, with often-dangerous circumstances surrounding women in need of protection and the service providers who are trying to help, the address is not published, but a 24-hour Domestic Violence hotline is available at (518) 374-3386. The YWCA has been a leader in our community for 134 years, serving 6,000+ people annually. Assisting Ms. Siciliano were the Chamber’s VP of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Jason Benitez, Senator Jim Tedisco, County Legislator Michelle Ostrelich, members of the Schenectady City Council, plus other volunteers. YWCA NENY is inviting the community to check out sponsorship and naming opportunities available to support this new center at ywca-neny.org.
All ribbon cuttings of the Capital Region Chamber and its affiliates are sponsored by the Saratoga National Bank and Trust Co.
