YWCA NorthEastern NY Ribbon Cutting

The Capital Region Chamber was excited to join in the festivities out in front of Palette Schenectady as the YWCA NorthEastern NY celebrated its 135th anniversary in Schenectady and its new space on the 2nd floor for its STRIVE program.

The day was all about empowerment and bringing opportunity to those who may have missed out in the past.  We can do this as a community, together, and lift up those among us who can thrive with a much needed (and deserved) boost!

Thank you to Schenectady City Council President Marion Porterfield, Schenectady County Legislator Michelle Ostrelich, Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara, and Rayan Aguam representing Senator Jim Tedisco for your support.  Capital Region Chamber board members Jeff Buell and Heather Peterson were there as were Palette co-owners Catherine Hover and Marcella Hammer and YWCA leadership including board President Nikita Hardy and CEO Kim Siciliano. Also thank you to volunteer Ambassadors Tim Williams and Judy Martin Brinkman for your help!!

All ribbon cuttings of the Capital Region Chamber and its affiliates are sponsored by the Saratoga National Bank & Trust Company.
