YWCA NorthEastern NY Partners with Local Businesses to Raise Funds for Domestic Violence Services

YWCA NorthEastern NY is partnering with local businesses to raise additional funds for their domestic violence support services during Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) this October. This campaign is called Dine for DVAM.

Businesses participating in Dine for DVAM have chosen food, drink, dessert, and/or candy specials that run either all month long, just one day, or during Week Without Violence which is October 16th – 21st, 2023. A portion of proceeds made on these specials from each location is donated to YWCA NENY. By supporting local businesses, community members will also be contributing to YWCA NENY’s domestic violence support services.

“We have a lot of really amazing community partners across the capital region,” said Lauren Trunko, YWCA NENY Chief Development Officer, “we thought Dine for DVAM would be a terrific way to encourage our friends and allies to support those community partners while also raising additional funds for our programs.
