Helping people is at the heart of the Capital District YMCA and has been from the start.
Through childcare programs, the Y nurtures the potential in every child. Through health and wellness programs, it improves the health and well-being of those who live in our community. The YMCA strengthens our community by giving back and helping those in need.
The Capital District YMCA Annual Golf Classic tournament has become one of the foremost charity golf tournaments in the Capital District area! On Monday, August 1, 2016 this prestigious event will be held at The Edison Club.
As part of this event, a raffle draws community wide attention. Items raffled vary in value from $50 to $500, ranging from gift cards/certificates, free services, and retail products or merchandise. Many donated gifts are combined to make themed raffle packages, which help raise even more funds for children.
The golf tournament hopes to raise more than $100,000 for our Annual Campaign – funds that will be distributed locally to financially challenged families, allowing them to participate in valuable YMCA programs and services. The Y strengthens families.
