World Refugee Day Virtual Walk/Fundraiser, “A Walk in Their Words”

Observed every year, World Refugee Day provides an opportunity to honor the courage of our community’s new neighbors and their resilience in building new lives in the United States.

“A Walk in their Words” will allow participants to listen to refugee and immigrant audio stories during the virtual walk/run and hear the personal experiences and journeys of individuals from many different regions of the world. Proceeds will support partner agencies that serve refugees and immigrants and have experienced recent funding cuts.

Since World Refugee Day falls on Father’s Day this year (June 20, 2021), we are going to make it a week-long event where you can walk any day leading up to and including the 20th.

The registration fee is $30 per person. Click here to register.
