Wojeski’s Lindemann Named Volunteer of the Year by Catholic Charities Disabilities Services

Matthew Lindemann, CPA, CFE, a partner at Wojeski & Company CPAs, P.C., has been named 2017 Volunteer of the Year by Catholic Charities Disabilities Services. He joined the group’s board of directors in 2014 and “has become an invaluable member of the board and the finance committee.”

A graduate of LeMoyne College, Lindemann is a registered CPA in New York who has earned the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of CPAs, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Association of Government Accountants. Lindemann is also qualified as an expert witness in the United States Bankruptcy Court and New York State Supreme Court.

“Matt regularly and faithfully contributes his fiscal expertise to our meetings and isn’t afraid to ask the difficult questions,” according to Anne Ogden, executive director of Catholic Charities Disabilities Services. “He utilizes his broad experience to help keep the agency on a solid financial footing and continuing in a positive direction. Perhaps most critical to our mission though, Matt demonstrates respect and understanding for the people we support and how we support them.”

As agencies throughout the state struggle to balance increased demands from federal and state oversight agencies with continually shrinking resources, Lindemann “has been a staunch supporter of our efforts to focus our resources on ensuring the best possible care for the individuals we serve,” Ogden says. “His advice is priceless, and we are grateful for his contributions and commitment.”
