Wilbur is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).  The CFE credential denotes proven expertise in fraud prevention, detection and deterrence. CFEs are trained to identify the warning signs and red flags that indicate evidence of fraud and fraud risk.  Wilbur’s skill set as a CFE combines knowledge of financial transactions with an understanding of methods, law, and how to resolve allegations of fraud.  Wilbur graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s in Business Administration from LeMoyne College, with an accounting major and a concentration in information systems.

Pacheco holds a Master of Business Administration Degree with a concentration in accounting and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Alfred University, AACSB accredited.  He was a recipient of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants’ Outstanding Accounting Student Award and the PROMISE award for exceeding goals and adhering to core values and vision of his employer at the time.  Pacheco was also on the Empire 8 Presidential List | Dean’s List for all semesters.

Wickes said, “With the addition of Angela and Tim, we are positioned for further growth of our forensic accounting practice.  They have hit the ground running with various investigations and economic analyses and they bring renewed vigor to the team.”   She added, “Earlier this year my firm moved and joined forces with Equitable Value, LLC in order to provide our clients a broader suite of forensic and valuation services at one location.  This year Wickes Forensic Accounting also expanded our resources by adding two professionals to our team who provide services on a contract-basis, as our ability to meet deadlines and produce high quality work product remain our priority.”

Both Wilbur and Pacheco are in the process of completing the examinations for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure and plan to subsequently attain the Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) credential.
