Leslie K. L. Thiele, Esq., a Partner with Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP, the Capital Region’s largest law firm, has been selected Agency & Distribution Lawyer of the Year by Finance Monthly’s Law Awards 2016, and a Global Award recipient in the category of International Trade by Corporate LiveWire.

Ms. Thiele founded Whiteman Osterman & Hanna’s International Trade and Business Immigration practice groups, and has practiced international business law and business-related immigration law since 1981. She has written and lectured extensively on international business topics, and has been included in Best Lawyers – Immigration for the last four years. Ms. Thiele is the U.S. Expert for Agency & Distribution for the International Distribution Institute of Turin, Italy, and Secretary of the Contract Law Commission of the Union Internationale des Avocats, based in Paris. She has advised numerous overseas entities on their entry or expansion in the U.S. market, working with them on corporate structuring and implementing a sales structure with the appropriate agency or distribution contracts.
