November 1, 2018WellNow Opens its First Urgent Care in the Town of Niskayuna
The Chamber was delighted to welcome WellNow Urgent Care to the Town of Niskayuna. The Chamber’s Ambassadors, local elected officials, staff and friends were on hand to officially cut the ribbon to what we hope is one of many facilities in our region. The state of the art facility is welcoming and ready to help patients with everything from a cold to suturing wounds. The waiting room is complete with a slushie machine and a PacMan arcade game. The goal is to make the patients comfortable while they wait for a short period of time. The in and out times are around 30 minutes and the facility is open 7 days a week 365 days a year from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. They will have three physicians on hand as well has many certified nurses and technicians. You can visit their website to check wait times, which are updated every 15 minutes.
The Chamber recognizes that a healthy community is a prospering community. We hope that the leaders of WellNow have much success on their first venture in the Capital Region and continue to invest in our area and communities.
