Wayne’s Plumbing Service Celebrates 25 Years of Family Tradition and Community Service

For 25 years, Wayne’s Plumbing Service has built its reputation on quality workmanship, trusted customer service, and a commitment to the Capital Region. What began as a family business has grown into a three-generation company, serving homeowners and businesses while remaining dedicated to the values on which it was founded.

The company recently celebrated its 25th anniversary and unveiled its newly renovated headquarters during a ribbon cutting hosted by the Capital Region Chamber. Family, friends, customers, local officials, and members of the business community gathered to recognize the milestone and the company’s continued investment in its employees, customers, and the community.

Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara presented a proclamation from the New York State Assembly recognizing Wayne’s Plumbing Service for 25 years of service. He spoke about the importance of trusted, family-owned businesses and the lasting relationships they build through dependable service and community involvement.

Schenectady County Legislator Michelle Ashley praised the family’s dedication to the Capital Region, describing small businesses as the backbone of the local economy. Glenville Town Supervisor Bob Kirkham also presented a proclamation honoring the company’s longstanding commitment to serving local residents and businesses.

Throughout the ceremony, speakers highlighted the value of the skilled trades and the importance of passing knowledge from one generation to the next, noting that businesses like Wayne’s Plumbing Service help strengthen both the local economy and the communities they serve.

Owner Wayne reflected on the people who helped make the milestone possible, thanking his father for teaching him the trade, his wife for believing in his vision from the beginning, and his dedicated team for their hard work and commitment over the years. Looking ahead, he shared his excitement for the future as his son, Adam, joins the business and carries forward the family’s tradition of service for the next generation.
