September 8, 2017Water’s Edge Lighthouse to Host 11th Annual “We Will Never Forget” 9/11 Ceremony
The Water’s Edge Lighthouse at 2 Freeman’s Bridge Road, Glenville, will once again host a ceremony commemorating the lives lost on September 11, 2001 at its 9/11 Memorial on the banks of the Mohawk River.
The event, slated for 5 p.m. on Monday, September 11, 2017, will be hosted by Pat Popolizio and Jon Wells.
Says Wells, “This annual event is held so the people that lost their lives on 9/11 are never forgotten.”
Mr. Wells, in addition to more than 30 other Capital Region business professionals, helped build the memorial.
Members of the armed forces and representatives from local police and fire departments will attend the ceremony, which will last about an hour.
