Walk/Run for the Dying May 4th, 2024

Community Support NEEDED to support those at the end of life! Schenectady Community Home, Inc. dba Joan Nicole Prince Home is hosting their annual Still Human Walk/Run event May 4th, 2024, AT SCHENECTADY CENTRAL PARK.

Local businesses have shown their support for the cause including… ADK Beverage, Stewart’s Shops, Ingalls & Associates, 1st National Bank of Scotia, Fenimore Asset Management, Socha Management, The Speckled Hen, Hometown Pub & Grub, & more! The event is aimed at supporting those in need at the end of life.

The goal of the Still Human Walk/Run is to raise awareness about the dying person’s bill of rights & the need for individuals at the end of life to be treated as human beings, with comfort, respect, & dignity.

All proceeds from the event go directly to the Joan Nicole Prince Home, a comfort home in Scotia, NY dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable, and caring home for the terminally ill.

The Joan Nicole Prince Home provides a safe, comfortable, caring residence to terminally ill patients in need of a home during their final days run 100% on community donations.
