Visit from Supreme Court Justice Sotomayor

Organizers of the University at Albany Speaker Series are officially launching online ticket registration for U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Sonia Sotomayor’s public talk on campus next month.

The talk is scheduled for Tuesday, April 4 at 6:30 p.m. in SEFCU Arena. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.

Registration for the event, which is free and open to current UAlbany students, faculty/staff, alumni, and the general public, will be available in the following order:

  • UAlbany students – Friday, March 10
  • UAlbany faculty/staff – Monday, March 13
  • UAlbany alumni/general public – Friday, March 17

Those interested in attending must visit albany.edu/eventtickets to register. Due to anticipated demand, only one ticket will be available per registrant. Tickets are required for admittance and seating is first come, first served.

Courtesy of the UAlbany Student Association, copies of the Justice’s memoir, “My Beloved World,” will be handed out to undergraduate students upon entry while supplies last. Students must present their UAlbany ID to receive the book.
