January 31, 2018Urban Co-Works Unveils New Division
URBAN CO-WORKS, formerly known as Electric City Innovation, held a celebratory ribbon cutting on Tuesday, January 30th. The Chamber along with local elected officials, tenants, family, friends and local supporters were all on hand for the unveiling of the new center name.
Jeff also unveiled a new division of the center, The Non-Profit Center at URBAN CO-WORKS. This new designated area will focus on development of local non-profits and provide office space for them to work. “Co-working spaces in general are a great option for non-profits because they get access to all the office amenities we offer at URBAN CO-WORKS for one low price. In addition to the basic co-working package, The Non-Profit Center has partnered with a variety of business solutions providers who can assist non-profits with back-office support and training. We have also partnered with a number of representatives from local foundations who can provide funding and other forms of support,” said Jeff Goronkin, CEO at URBAN CO-Works.
