About Our Panelists
Matt Grattan leads Plug Power’s community benefits and workforce development planning and implementation efforts. He held roles with the University at Albany, Schenectady County Community College, and the NYS Department of Labor in roles surrounding workforce and community development.
Trent Griffin-Braaf is CEO and founder Tech Valley Shuttle and GB Logistics, two companies based in New York’s Capital Region. In 2023, the U.S. Small Business Administration Upstate New York District awarded him the 2023 Small Business Person of the Year Award. His Roadmap to Success program provides training and support to formerly incarcerated individuals so they can find employment and be successful; and provides coaching to businesses so that they will be better prepared to hire employees who have barriers to employment.
Philip Bruce is the Director of the Center for Career and Professional Development at RPI. In addition to his time at RPI, he has spent most of the last 17 years helping students connect their academic to professional goals through collaboration with faculty and staff at his respective institutions.
