Union College to Host Career Fair September 24

Union College will host its annual career fair on Tuesday, September 24 from 4-7 p.m., with graduate schools, for-profit and non-profit/government organizations encouraged to participate.

Having hosted a career fair for over 25 years, the Union College event has evolved to include organizations spanning multiple industries, and on-site prep sessions and professional headshots for students. Touted as a terrific way for employers and graduate schools to get valuable face time with prospective employees, interns, or students, career fair participants are also able to increase their brand recognition on the Union College campus; all class years and students are encouraged to attend the event, so participating businesses and organizations have the opportunity to connect with students at varying stages of their college careers.

“For the strategic employer or graduate school, this is a great way to connect with very bright students who can become a valuable source of future talent or enhance your programs,” says Rochelle Caruso, Union College’s Senior Associate Director, Employer Relations.

Students who have attended in the past appreciate a broad representation of organizations and opportunities, Caruso notes, adding that by attending, local employers are able to make connections with students as future sources of talent for internships and post-graduate opportunities.
