UAlbany’s Campus Community Donates to St. Vincent’s Food Pantry

UAlbany Dining and University Auxiliary Services will be presenting a donation check of $2,928.33 to the St. Vincent’s food pantry.

Money was raised through the University’s “Hunger Awareness Night” on campus in April. During the event, students eating at the Colonial Quad dining hall were served a symbolic meal of broth and pasta with water as a beverage to acknowledge food insecurity and poverty.

The presentation will take place Thursday, June 15 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Vincent’s Parish Center in Albany (located next to St. Rose School of Business).
