UAlbany to Host National Cybersecurity Conference

UAlbany’s College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security and Cybersecurity (CEHC), in partnership with the Center for Internet Security in East Greenbush, N.Y. and its Multi-State Information Sharing and Analytics Center (MS-ISAC), is hosting a conference during National Cybersecurity Awareness Month to discuss the benefits of information sharing.

This will be the nation’s first conference to spotlight real success stories in information sharing, where organizations were able to avoid cyber harm because of information learned through collective threat intelligence.

Confirmed attendees come from many different sectors, including health care, information technology, financial services, communications, energy, state and local governments and academia.

The conference is free and open to the public, with support from the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation.
