Twinstate Technologies® Announces New VP of Strategic Alliances Position, Appoints Dawn Currier Juneau

Twinstate Technologies®, a family-owned, Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE), formalizes new position for one of its three owners, Dawn Currier Juneau, Vice President of Administration. Juneau will now serve as the Vice President of Strategic Alliances. In her new role, she will be responsible for communicating the company’s strategies, solutions and products to specific customers and partners; identifying their solutions’ requirements; and driving new opportunities for the company. The development of the position comes in response to an increase in government contract opportunities and national subcontracting requests.

Spearheaded by Juneau, this initiative has been in motion over the course of several years and has proven successful. It became apparent that the time was now for Juneau to transition into this distinct role.

“Dawn has been monumental in leading us into new markets and strategic partnerships,” says Juneau’s sister, and CEO and Acting CISO of Twinstate Technologies, Devi Momot, CISSP®, GSLC®, GISP®. “This new role will allow her to expand those efforts.”

“Our family continues to support and grow our business in areas that our individual strength compliments,” says Clark Currier, VP of Operations. “Dawn has been keeping our operations team busy with projects to meet our customers’ needs. This role will allow for continued growth and success.”

Prior to the transition, Juneau oversaw administration for the company, managing responsibilities such as contract review, human resources and payroll. While in this role, she actively communicated with specific government agencies and pursued contract projects that could utilize Twinstate’s services and solutions.

Through Juneau’s leadership, Twinstate was certified as a WBE in 2003 and since then, actively secures contracts with federal, state, county and city government agencies, as well as municipalities; and subcontracting agreements with architects and prime contractors. Proof of performance includes procured projects with various departments of the military, emergency services, international airports, colleges and universities, and K-12 educational institutions. Won private-business bids include manufacturing, medical centers, banks, casinos and retail chains, to name a few.

Juneau’s wealth of experience brings projects and prospects to Twinstate, in and outside of its core markets. Furthermore, she offers thorough insight into the benefits of working with a WBE. Certified on the Federal level, and in New York, New Hampshire and Vermont, with Massachusetts and Pennsylvania soon to follow, Twinstate is also a partner to its customers working on state and federal projects that might require such a certification.

“I am excited about this new role,” says Dawn Currier Juneau. “I have been energized and passionate about expanding these business opportunities and over the years, I have seen our potential to grow in the national market and as a WBE. As well, I have seen a significant increase in national companies calling on us to perform installation and maintenance projects for their accounts in our service areas due to our highly-qualified team; this often results in repeat and referral business. We also team with, or subcontract to, electrical and prime contractors on many larger projects. As one of the few WBEs in our markets, we can help contractors meet their goals with State and Federal governments. We are focused on simple and straightforward options for our customers, and the demand from them is growing.”

Fully insured and bonded, compliant and known for the highest quality on-time, on-budget project delivery, Twinstate is a go-to subcontractor and reseller partner for government agencies and private businesses alike. The company prides itself on its experience, integrity, insurability, credentials and reputation, and when in the role of prime contractor, it demands the same of its subcontractors.

Anticipating an exciting year to come, Juneau is eager to continue her contribution as a key player in Twinstate’s growth. She looks forward to expanding her network and working closely with new customers. With this effort, Twinstate not only anticipates it will gain more ground in its existing markets, but Juneau’s strategy will be a driving force into new markets.
