Travelogue Series Scheduled at Power Authority Visitor Center in March

The Travelogue Series returns on Sundays during March at the New York Power Authority’s Blenheim-Gilboa Visitor Center. The photograph and video programs, taking armchair travelers to destinations around the world, are held at the project’s visitors center theater starting at 2 p.m.

March 2017 schedule:

March 12: The second part of the series from Michael T. Keene, from his book “Questions of Sanity”, examines the criminal history, lives and times of some of New York’s most infamous women, set in New York during the 19th century.

March 19: One of your favorites! Chuck D’Imperio will present, “A Taste of Upstate New York—The People and the Stories behind 40 Food Favorites.” Chuck, in his humorous way, will tell you about, among others, spiedies, riggies, wings & bean pies and a special, called “meatball in a heel.” Enjoy!

March 26: Swim with Swain—Join Christopher Swain, environmental advocate, who has been swimming and advocating for our waterways since 1996, as he tells stories about some of his swimming adventures in our most polluted waterways.

Admission is free, but seating is limited. Light refreshments are served after each program.
