Thirteen O’Connell & Aronowitz Attorneys Earn 2017 Super Lawyers Designations

O’Connell & Aronowitz is pleased to announce that thirteen of its attorneys were named to the 2017 Upstate New York Super Lawyers list. Only five percent of all attorneys in New York State are named to this list each year.

The following attorneys have been designated Super Lawyers: Stephen R. Coffey, Thomas J. DiNovo, Paul A. Feigenbaum, Matthew Jackson, Michael P. McDermott, Cornelius D. Murray, Pamela A. Nichols, Meredith Savitt and Jeffrey J. Sherrin.  Named to the 2017 Upstate New York Rising Star list, acknowledging emerging attorneys admitted to the bar within the past ten years are: Danielle E. Holley, Scott W. Iseman, Chad Jerome and Brittnay M. McMahon.

Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have achieved a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Attorneys in each state who receive the highest point totals, as chosen by their peers and through independent research, are awarded the designation. The selection process includes a statewide survey of lawyers, independent evaluation of candidates by an attorney-led research staff, a peer review of candidates by practice area, and both good standing and disciplinary checks.

“We are always pleased when our attorneys’ talents, abilities and accomplishments are recognized by colleagues in the legal community,” said Jeffrey J. Sherrin, Firm president.
