June 22, 2022The Vandy Thrift Shoppe Opens in Downtown Albany
The recent Ribbon Cutting for The Vandy Thrift Shoppe was a total success! Thank you to our special guests Congressman Paul Tonko, Assembly members John McDonald and Patricia Fahy, City of Albany Treasurer Darius Shahinfar, along with several other area dignitaries for taking part in such an important celebration for Vanderheyden. Mark Eagan, President and CEO of The Capital Region Chamber, led the business community and emceed the event. The Vandy Thrift Shoppe looks forward to serving the community of downtown Albany for the years to come. The Vandy is an active part in Downtown’s revitalization initiative, while meeting the vocational goal for the individuals at Vanderheyden and the Career Center.
