Music fans will be happy to hear about the next group of shows announced for the MainStage at Proctors. “The Concert: A Tribute to ABBA” and The Temptations and The Four Tops will be in Schenectady Spring 2024.
“The Concert: A Tribute to ABBA” will be on the MainStage at Proctors 8 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2024. 21st Century Artists, Inc brings one of the greatest pop phenomena back to life. “The Concert: A Tribute to ABBA” continues to be the top ABBA tribute group in the world, playing iconic hits like “Mamma Mia,” “Gimmie, Gimmie, Gimmie,” “Dancing Queen” and more. “The Concert: A Tribute to ABBA” is not affiliated with the original ABBA group or “Mamma Mia!”
Music icons The Temptations and The Four Tops have cemented their places in music history as pioneers of the R&B genre and trailblazers for African Americans in the entertainment industry. The five-time Grammy Award-winning Temptations topped Billboard’s Hot 100 chart 53 times with four number-one hits “My Girl,” “Can’t Get Next To You,” “Papa Was a Rolling Stone” and “Just My Imagination.” The Four Tops have landed 24 songs in the pop Top 40 including “Baby I Need Your Loving,” “I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch),” “Reach Out I’ll Be There” and “When She Was My Girl.” These two Motown legends will be on the MainStage at Proctors 8 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2024.
