The Schenectady Jewish Community Center Announces Honorees for the 14th Annual Robert J. Ludwig Community Service Awards Gala

The Schenectady Jewish Community Center (SJCC) proudly announces the distinguished honorees of the 14th Annual Robert J. Ludwig Community Service Awards Gala, a signature event celebrating outstanding contributions to the Capital Region, Schenectady County, and the JCC community. The gala will be held on November 13th at the Mohawk Golf Club.

For more than a decade, this gala has been held in memory of the late Robert J. Ludwig, a beloved friend, mentor, and visionary leader. Bob’s legacy of dedication, generosity, and community spirit continues to inspire the JCC. The annual celebration honors individuals and organizations who embody values of service, partnership, and responsibility.

This year’s honorees are:

Jack and Vicki Gold – Community Service Award
Recognized for their extraordinary dedication to both the JCC and the broader community, Jack and Vicki embody the Jewish value of Tikkun Olam—repairing the world. Their steadfast commitment to helping others, locally and globally, has made a lasting impact on countless lives.

National Grid – Corporate Partnership Award
Honored for its role as a model corporate citizen, National Grid has consistently supported initiatives that strengthen communities across the Capital Region. Beyond generous sponsorships, the company’s employees give back through countless volunteer hours, standing alongside local charities to make a difference.

Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital – Philanthropic Leadership Award
Celebrated for its unwavering dedication to providing essential care and support for individuals and families across the Capital Region, Sunnyview also demonstrates a deep commitment to meeting the unique needs of the Jewish community. Its leadership in philanthropy and service exemplifies the true spirit of giving.
