The National Museum of Dance Presents Night at the Museum Live! February 13

The National Museum of Dance is pleased to announce Night at the Museum Live! on Thursday, February 13. From 6 to 6:40 pm, dancers and movers of all ages and levels are invited to create movement inspired by the exhibitions. From 6:45 to 8 pm, doors will open for visitors to view the exhibitions with dancers bringing the Museum to life.

Exhibitions that will come to life include Art of the Dance: Posters from Hollywood’s Golden Age, On Being Still: Portraits by Joanne Savio, and the Mr. & Mrs. Cornelius Vanderbilt Whitney Hall of Fame. We look forward to this one-night-only event and how these exhibitions inspire movers to bring the installations to life with their own choreography and improvisation.

Participating dancers and movers arriving at 6 pm are free. Visitors arriving at 6:45 pm pay admission: free for members, $10 for adults, $8 for students, seniors, and military, $5 for children 10 & under, and free for children under 5. For more information contact Mary Anne Fantauzzi at 518-584-2225 x 3004 or tours@dancemuseum.org. Reservations are not necessary.

The National Museum of Dance is open for winter hours Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and Sunday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
