The Law Firm of Deily & Glastetter, LLP Announces Management Promotions

HarkoThe Partners of Deily & Glastetter, LLP are pleased to announce the promotions of Melissa Harko and Orlando Rios to the positions of co-managers for the firm’s growing Collections and Replevin businesses.  Melissa and Orlando will report to Attorney Pilar A. Cano.

As co-managers, Melissa and Orlando will be responsible for staff hiring, performance management, workflow oversight, training, and development of Collections Department employees.  Additionally, they will have responsibility for developing and implementing high-performance organizational strategies, policies and practices, including planning and maintain systems and procedures for maximum operating efficiency.  As Collections’ Department Manager – Team Leader A, Melissa will directly oversee and supervise the document specialist group and legal secretaries.  She will continue to maintain her duties as the replevin paralegal.  As Collections’ Department Manager – Team Leader B, Orlando will directly oversee and supervise the collectors and file clerks.  Orlando will continue his paralegal training, learning to manage contested collection files.

RiosPrior to joining Deily & Glastetter in March of 2003, Orlando served in the United States Navy as a Petty Officer GM2 and CAT-ASV AB Testing Administrator.  Orlando is a graduate of Hinds Community College and Gunner’s Mate “A” Technical School and MK 45/54 Caliber Gun “C” School.

Prior to joining Deily & Glastetter in May of 2012, Melissa was a Legal Assistant at the Law Office of Bruce James Donadio, Esq.  Melissa is a graduate with an AAS in Paralegal Studies from Schenectady Community College.
