The Grief Experience Launch Party

The Capital Region Chamber staff and volunteer Ambassadors were joined by Senator Jim Tedisco in supporting the launch party for The Grief Experience: Tools for Acceptance, Resilience & Connection at Palette in Saratoga. A collection of 25 contributing authors (12 of them local) led by Kelly Daugherty has written an amazing book that is climbing up the charts.

According to Amazon.com: “In The Grief Experience you’ll receive the gift of understanding the important and life-changing healing work that happens when you let go of old, conditioned patterns of belief around the grief process and gain new, healthier, more aligned and effective knowledge and tools. The 25 experts who came together for this collaboration share intimate stories and powerful strategies that will help you if you’re struggling with deep loss. Where there is deep grief, there was great love, and this book is the ultimate guide back to that love.”

The book is available for sale locally at Mail ‘N’ More in Burnt Hills and other places, or you can search the online retailers. Ms. Daugherty also authored an earlier work entitled, “Bearing the Unbearable: Love, Loss, and the Heartbreaking Path of Grief” (2017).

Many of the local authors are based in Malta, where they have their own locations for counseling services. Brittany DeMarco-Furman, owns the Glenville Funeral Home with her family and a new auto dealership in Glenville with her husband Dan, called Drive Digital.

Thank you Senator Jim Tedisco for coming and being part of the event, and for sharing some great photos taken by your staff!
