The Empire Golf & Travel Expo Celebrates New Ownership

The Empire Golf & Travel Expo held a ribbon cutting to kick off their weekend on Friday, March 6^th.  The event has been held at numerous venues around the city – this year it was held at the Albany Capital Center.

The ribbon cutting this year was to celebrate the new owner, Mike Deep. In 2014, Mike’s passion and knowledge of golf led him to purchase the beautiful Waubeeka Golf Links in neighboring Williamstown, MA. He is a big promoter of junior golf, is familiar with the golf business, knows the needs of golfers and hopes to bring these aspects to the show.

Mike’s goal is to continue to build off the success of the Empire Golf Expo and is excited to now be a part of the Capital Region community.

The expo was held on March 7^th and 8^th and was a huge success!  Nice job Mike and team!
