The Community Foundation for the Greater Capital Region Welcomes New Director of Marketing and Communications

The Community Foundation for the Greater Capital Region is pleased to welcome Tiarnan Barrett as the organization’s Director of Marketing and Communications. In this role, he will lead all marketing and communications efforts to build and sustain awareness for the Foundation.

Barrett has built a strong track record in public relations, media relations, marketing, and strategic storytelling in the Capital Region. He has supported a diverse range of organizations, developing and executing integrated communications campaigns that elevate brand visibility and strengthen community engagement.

His experience includes crafting compelling media pitches, managing social media and digital marketing strategies, coordinating press events, and developing targeted messaging and content across multiple platforms. With deep roots in the Capital Region, Barrett has worked at Proctors Collaborative, Tully Rinckey PLLC, and The Baker Agency.

Barrett holds a Master of Business Administration from Siena University and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Fairfield University.
