Learn the fundamentals of event planning to support the success of your future events! Discussion and activities will focus on event preparation, elements and execution for professionals who are new to the field, those who have event planning responsibilities within their current roles and individuals planning a significant personal event (e.g.,wedding, celebrations, etc.). Acquire tools and knowledge about best practices related to the audience, venue selection, timeline, setup, effective communications, technology resources, troubleshooting and so on to create high impact events. Light refreshments will be served.
