August 12, 2015The Armory at Sage to Host CrossFit Shatter Summer Slam with Proceeds to Benefit Maddie’s Mark Foundation
The Sage Colleges is pleased to announce that it will host CrossFit Shatter Summer Slam presented by CaptainCompetition.com on Saturday, August 15 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The CrossFit style competition will feature athletes of all ages and fitness levels from across New England. The event will take place at The Armory at Sage, located at 130 New Scotland Avenue in Albany
“The Sage Colleges is proud to provide the Armory as the centerpiece of this community event,” said Dr. Kim Fredericks, dean of Sage’s School of Management. “This is a wonderful way to partner with the local community by promoting wellness and fitness for individuals of all ages while supporting an extraordinary organization like Maddie’s Mark Foundation.”
More than 64 two-person teams and over 128 athletes from across the Capital Region and New England participate in this full day of CrossFit style events to raise money for Maddie’s Mark Foundation.
