The Logan Strong Foundation (LSF), a locally-rooted non-profit committed to supporting families dealing with childhood cancer and other serious medical conditions, is excited to announce ‘The Gold Gala’. This exclusive event will take place on Friday, May 3rd, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the elegant Edison Downtown in Schenectady.
The Gold Gala promises an evening of sophistication and generosity, featuring a captivating silent and live auction, pulsating beats by a live DJ, exhilarating dancing, and a delightful photo booth, along with passed hors d’oeuvres.
Limited tickets are available for purchase until April 22nd, with only 250 coveted spots up for grabs. Individual tickets are priced at $150. Additionally, sponsorships and contributions to the silent auction are warmly welcomed until the final ticket sale deadline.
Proceeds from previous events have been instrumental in providing essential resources such as items from the Amazon Wish List, fuel and grocery gift cards, professional cleaning services, and personalized fundraising assistance. Recent contributions to esteemed organizations like the Ronald McDonald House and Albany Medical Center underscore LSF’s commitment to enhancing the lives of those affected by illness.
Organizers of ‘The Gold Gala’ aspire to directly expand their reach and assist over 100 families by the year’s end, embodying the foundation’s unwavering dedication to making a tangible difference in the community.
Jennifer Hendricks-Fogg, Founder and President of LSF, shared her personal motivation behind the foundation’s creation, stating, “My husband and I established LSF in honor of our son. We intimately understand the profound challenges and emotional upheaval experienced by families navigating medical crises. Our mission is to offer solace, solidarity, and practical support during these trying times.”
Fogg further emphasized, “No one should face these trials alone. Through LSF, we strive to ensure that every family feels valued and supported throughout their journey.” The 2nd annual event will be hosted at The Edison, Downtown, a premier venue located at 132 Broadway, Schenectady.
