The City of Albany and Saint Peter’s Health Partners are proud to announce the 20th Annual Mother of the Year Contest celebrating Capital Region moms who have demonstrated a tremendous commitment to their community and who have made a positive impact on their children and loved ones.
Online nomination forms can be found at www.motheroftheyearalbany.com. Nominations will be accepted until noon on April 23rd. Any nominee selected as a finalist must be available to attend the ceremony held on May 13.
Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan and Joe Condon of B95.5, along with the newly crowned Tulip Queen and her Court will greet the five finalists and crown one of them the Mother of the Year on the Lake House stage, Sunday May 13 at this year’s Tulip Festival in Washington Park. The ceremony will take place at noon.
All finalists will receive a gift basket of prizes as well as flowers from Ambiance Floral and Events
