October 2, 2020Tech Valley Office Interiors Moves to Downtown Cohoes
The Chamber was delighted to participate in the grand opening and ribbon cutting for Tech Valley Office Interiors. The new location is located at 50 Mohawk Street in Downtown Cohoes.
TVOI has relocated both its new and preowned companies, Nu2u Quality Used Office furniture, to the new location. The new building houses a 4,000 square foot working showroom, a 3,000 square foot warehouse and a Quickship showroom, which is the first of its kind in the Albany market. This will allow customers to choose from a large inventory of popular office furniture offerings and receive their product with speed. The remaining space is designated for Harmony CoWorks, the first Cohoes based Co-Working space. Members will have the ability to choose from private offices, day passes, unlimited passes, dedicated desks and private meetings rooms.
Dion, who is also Chairman of the Cohoes IDA, stated how exciting it has been to move his company back to where he lives. “This is a dream I never thought would come true. The building, and the opportunity to move jobs back to Cohoes is so exciting for all involved. My young design staff is extremely excited about moving to a more walkable community,” said Dion. He went on to say, “As Chairman of the IDA, the explosion of growth that this area has seen in just the past few years made it the right time to join in. With the initial growth stimulated by Economic Development, I hope this is the beginning of more private investment into the City.”
