Tech Forward, Inc. Earns Federal Certification as a Veteran-Owned Small Business

Tech Forward, Inc., has been federally certified as a Veteran-Owned Small Business. Launched in 2016, TFI is now headquartered in downtown Albany, NY, overlooking the beautifully enclosed atrium in the Times Union Center.

Through its TFI Digital Signs division, Tech Forward, Inc. has created unique software applications [currently under copyright application] that work together to provide a platform for micro computers to be cloud-controlled and used as digital signage. The digital signage player (DSP) offers stunning and uniquely affordable digital signs and video walls, installed without a monthly hosting or design fee.

The company’s products are featured in some of the Capital Region’s most well-known venues, including Proctors Theatre, the Albany Capital Center, the Palace Theatre, the Boys and Girls Club of Schenectady, Howes Caverns, the Times Union Center, and more. Through its TFI Tech Services division, Tech Forward, Inc. also provides flexible IT managed support services, network installation, and network administration services.

Majority owner, President James Anilowski, is a former United States Marine, honorably discharged in 1990. He has over 30 years of experience as an IT professional, and previously served as the Deputy Director of Networks and Senior Project Manager for the largest school system in the United States. James is an expert in technology deployments, installations, project management, and network design. James has positioned Tech Forward, Inc. at the top of the industry in creating interactive displays, video arrays, augmented reality exhibits, 360-degree displays, and digital signage systems.

Co-Owner and CEO Wendi Enright has an MBA with a concentration in Management, from York College of Pennsylvania. She has a long history of dynamic personnel recruitment and a successful track record as a small business owner, corporate executive, director of human resources, college educator, and business reporter. Wendi is an Ambassador with the Capital Region Chamber of Commerce and active with several local non-profit organizations.
