July 1, 2025Success Map Initiative™ Launches Clothing Drive Ahead of Job Fair at Albany Correctional Facility
In an effort to support second-chance employment, Success Map Initiative™, led by community advocate and entrepreneur Trent Griffin-Braaf, will be hosting the first-ever job fair inside Albany Correctional Facility on July 15, 2025.
This landmark event aims to equip incarcerated individuals with direct access to employment opportunities before their release — a strategy proven to significantly improve successful reentry outcomes. To help participating residents put their best foot forward, Success Map Initiative™ is organizing a clothing drive for lightly used white button-down shirts in all sizes.
“By replacing the standard-issue orange uniforms with professional attire, we’re giving them a renewed sense of dignity and confidence that can make all the difference in a job interview.” said Trent Griffin-Braaf.
The initiative is currently seeking donations of gently worn white dress shirts, which will be worn by job fair participants. Community members, local businesses, and organizations are encouraged to contribute. Together, we can help create pathways to opportunity.
