Studio Balayage Opens in the Town of Rotterdam

The Chamber took part in a ribbon cutting for one of Rotterdam’s newest businesses on Monday, November 2nd. Studio Balayage opened its doors to the public and hopes to create a relaxing spa type experience for its clients.

Lindsay Nellis and Megan Turck are sisters who have always been passionate about hair and the beauty industry. From the time they were doing each other’s hair as children to following their dream of owning a salon together, they have worked tirelessly to become master stylists.

Both sisters attended The Orlo School of Cosmotology and have continued their education to include the latest trends in hair styling. Having each other made the transition to owning a salon an easy move. They knew they wanted to keep their business in Rotterdam, the town where they grew up.

Studio Balayage is an upscale salon where clients are encouraged to relax and enjoy their many services. They specialize in hair, makeup, facials, lashes, waxing and their most popular service, hair extensions. All stylists at Studio Balayage stay up to date on all of the latest techniques and are all certified in all types of hair extensions.

As a small, women owned business, they are committed to positivity and lifting each other up. They want everyone who walks through the door to feel special.
