Niskayuna Rotary is pleased to welcome Marie DiCristofaro as the featured guest speaker at their breakfast meeting, Tuesday, November 10. Marie will describe how miSci’s Challenger Learning Center is changing lives. The Challenger Astronauts would be pleased and proud to see what good is being done in their name. Young people are learning the joys of teamwork, and a job well done. Ordinary students are getting that ah-ha moment, as they realize that they can have a future in the math & sciences, overcoming the negative feelings they may have had about their capabilities. Niskayuna Rotary meetings are 7:15 to 8:15 a.m. at the Blue Ribbon Restaurant & Bakery, 1801 State St (Route 5). Teachers and all community-minded individuals are invited and encouraged to attend.
