March 3, 2016Streamline Claims Service Acquires Preferred Adjustment Company
Streamline Claims Service, Inc. an affiliate of Alliance Worldwide Investigative Group, Inc. has acquired Preferred Adjustment Company, an independent Capital District adjusting firm founded in 1988. The company is now located in the Alliance Worldwide Investigative Group headquarters at 4 Executive Park Drive in Clifton Park, New York. The firm also has an office in Lake George, New York.
Two of the key Preferred Adjustment Company personnel, Paul Heaphy, former Co-Owner, and Sean Quillinan, Property Adjuster, will stay on with Preferred Adjustment Company under the new ownership. Additional staff will operate under their leadership including an adjuster headquartered in Amsterdam, New York who will handle claims throughout all of New York State and an administrator assisting with day to day operations.
Paul Heaphy has 40 years of adjusting service experience and will operate out of the Clifton Park offices handling claims in the Capital Region area. Heaphy is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and is a licensed General Adjuster. He graduated from Iona College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Philosophy, and holds a Master of Science degree in Public Service from Russell Sage College. He will be responsible for handling technical administration of complex, high exposure property and casualty claims.
Sean W. Quillinan has 25 years of experience, 16 of which as a Property Adjuster for Preferred Adjustment Company. He will handle claims in the North Country of New York State from his home base located in Lake George. He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Geneseo with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts. He has completed the NYC FEMA National Flood Insurance Program and Allmerica Financial course at the Suspicious Claim Field Investigation Acadamy. He also has experience with heavy equipment adjusting and completed the GAB Robins course at their Truck and Heavy Equipment School.
