Statement from Capital Region Chamber on NYS Department of Labor’s Decision to Drop Predictive Scheduling Revisions

“I am delighted that the New York State Department of Labor listened to the concerns of our Chamber and has decided to drop their proposed call-in scheduling regulations,” stated Mark Eagan, President and CEO of the Capital Region Chamber.  “These proposed cumbersome, one-size fits all regulations would have been costly to employers and would have stiffed job growth in our region.  This is a big victory to our employer community and would not have been possible without the strong voice of the Chamber and our partners in the business community.  In the end, we are grateful the Department heard us and made the correct decision.”
