February 6, 2018Stakeholders to Honor Community Volunteers 2018 Community IMPACT Awards to be Presented at March 14 Ceremony
The Stakeholders, Inc. has announced the winners of the 2018 Community IMPACT Awards designed to recognize companies, organizations and individuals who have provided exemplary volunteer services in New York’s Capital Region. The IMPACT Awards will be presented in a gala ceremony on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 5:30 PM
Two hundred Capital Region business and community leaders are expected to gather to honor the 2018 honorees, starting at 5:30pm with a lavish networking cocktail party, followed by the Oscar-style award show at 6:30 pm (minus the long-winded speeches!). Hosted by Robert Clancy, owner of Spiral Design Studio and author of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Soul.
The 2018 IMPACT awards will recognize individuals and organizations that have provided exemplary volunteer services throughout the Capital Region. We are proud to announce this year’s slate of honorees:
- Christine Mesick, Volunteer of the Year Award
- Lawrence H. Coon/Capital Cup For kids, Outstanding Service Project
- AYCO, Outstanding Service Project
- Friends of Clifton Park Open Space, Sustainable Communities Award
- Maya McNulty, Young Philanthropist Award
- Christopher Farrell, Young Philanthropist Award
- Jan Smith, Community Mentorship Award
- Joni Bonilla, Operation At Ease, Everyday Hero Award
- Central Veterinary Hospital and the Albany Damien Center, Business-to-Nonprofit Partnership Award
- Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Corporate Volunteer of the Year Award
The awards will be presented at a gala ceremony and networking event on Wednesday, March, 14 2018 beginning at 5:30 pm at the Normanside Country Club in Delmar. It is an evening that promises to combine red carpet elegance with the passion and promise of those we will honor.
