St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates is expanding access to healthcare services in East Greenbush with enhanced walk-in and same-day primary care availability, as well as a new permanent satellite orthopedic practice staffed five days per week. The expansion strengthens local access to timely, high-quality care and reflects the organization’s continued commitment to meeting the healthcare needs of the community.
The Capital Region Chamber joined St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates to celebrate the expansion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Jason Bonitez, Vice President of Inclusion, officiated the event and shared appreciation on behalf of the Chamber’s 2,400 member businesses for St. Peter’s continued investment in vital community health services.
Community leaders underscored the importance of the expanded services. Carmen Bogle, representing Senator Jake Ashby, highlighted ongoing healthcare access challenges and commended the expansion for supporting patients throughout the 43rd District. Rensselaer County Legislators Mary Frances Sabo and Tom Grant also spoke to the local impact, with Sabo noting the need for additional urgent care services on “this side of the river,” and Grant adding, “You’re an asset to this county and this town and this district. We appreciate all the work you do in keeping us healthy.”
Kelly Valente, Vice President of St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates, reflected on the organization’s longstanding ties to the community and shared enthusiasm for its continued growth. She noted that the expansion builds on decades of trusted relationships while bringing additional services and expertise to the region.
