St. Christopher Fitness Ribbon Cutting

Congratulations to St. Christopher Fitness located in the Clifton Park Center mall, on their 2nd anniversary ribbon cutting (opening celebration delayed due to the Pandemic). St. Christopher Fitness is an adaptive special needs gym which offers personal training to individuals with special needs or physical disabilities including mental, physical, and cognitive challenges such as Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis,
genetic conditions, and other diagnoses.

Both Senator Jim Tedisco and Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh have personal connections to the special needs community, and they lent their support and words of encouragement to owners Theresa and Jomilson Alvarez. The couple were inspired to open the facility by Theresa’s brother, who needed a better environment to work out that was adapted to his personality and needs. No matter what situation someone is in, they deserve an opportunity to be at their healthiest!

The lighting is different at St. Christopher Fitness, as are various elements of mood and sensory stimulation. Much like we learned on ThinkDIFFERENTLY Day at The Saratoga County Fair last week, attention to those details can make a big difference in terms of welcoming certain members of our community who need that respect and attention.

If your family can benefit from these services please contact St. Christopher Fitness for an appointment.

All 2023 ribbon cuttings of the Capital Region Chamber and its affiliates are sponsored by the Saratoga National Bank & Trust Company.
