St. Anne Institute Receives Funds to Run an Emergency Shelter

St. Anne Institute has won a Basic Center Program grant from the Department of Health and Human Services to establish an emergency youth shelter in the City of Albany. The new program will provide temporary shelter, counseling services, family support and coordinated case management services. The program’s goal is to create a safe haven for youth in crisis who need a place to live while they sort out difficulties that brought them to the streets.

For one hundred and thirty years St. Anne Institute has brought to life the motto “Loving, Caring, Protecting” while serving children and families throughout the Capital District and all New York State.
