Capital Region Sponsor-A-Scholar recently welcomed a new member of the staff, Elizabeth Venatta, who will serve as the program and alumni manager.
Robin Christenson, executive director of Capital Region Sponsor-A-Scholar, highlighted the new addition: “Liz brings a unique set of skills and expertise to our staff that will help us to enhance our proven college readiness and completion programs and will assist us in our goal of engaging our alumni in our mission.”
Ms. Venatta recently relocated from Detroit, Michigan, where she facilitated leadership training programs and managed an internship program as part of a Challenge Detroit Urban Revitalization fellowship. She earned her masters degree from Marquette University and holds a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University.
