Capital Region Sponsor-A-Scholar recently welcomed two new board members: Jeffrey A. Cohn and Philip Schwartz.
Geraldine Golub, chair of the Board of Capital Region Sponsor-A-Scholar, lauded the new additions: “Each of these individuals brings a deep passion for our mission and critical professional experience that will aid us in our strategic priorities. They also add new connections, perspectives and skills to our board. We are pleased to welcome both Jeff and Philip to our organization.”
Jeffrey A. Cohn is the Principal and owner of ADNET Technologies NY. He has more than thirty years of experience as a business owner in the region. Jeff has been involved with Sponsor-A-Scholar as a donor and volunteer for more than 10 years.
Philip Schwartz is the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications for Ellis Medicine. He has worked as a journalist and communications consultant over the course of his career and has received numerous honors for his reporting and marketing work. Philip has also consulted numerous arts and education non-profits throughout the greater Capital Region.
Both new members have committed to a three-year term of service.
