October 2, 2024Special Thanksgiving Distribution
As our friends at Equinox shift their focus from their annual Thanksgiving Dinner to year-round food security initiatives, the Regional Food Bank is excited to launch a new Thanksgiving 
distribution to fill the gap. Working with partner sites throughout the immediate Capital Region, the Food Bank will host a number of drive-thru style distributions the weekend before Thanksgiving featuring a combination of food boxes and prepared meals. More information will be forthcoming on our website, so check back often for updates.
“We are so grateful to the team at Equinox for all they have done to assist neighbors in need for 54 years,” said Tom Nardacci, CEO of the Regional Food Bank. “We have big shoes to fill, but working together with Equinox, the community, our partners, volunteers, and staff, we can make Thanksgiving special for individuals, families, and seniors in need throughout the area.”
