In time for the holiday season, Saratoga Performing Arts Center has launched the first-ever Black Friday promotion, offering customizable gifts for every classical music connoisseur, pop diva, rock n’ roll fan, or wine enthusiast on your list. The 2017 Holiday Collection includes the Ultimate Classical Season Pass, which features a lawn seat for all performances of New York City Ballet and The Philadelphia Orchestra and the opportunity to upgrade to the best available amphitheater seat for $5 for any performance, up to five times ($150 from midnight on 11/23 through 11/27; $165 from 11/28 through 12/31); Gift Certificates which can be redeemed for tickets to any SPAC performance, Live Nation show or the Saratoga Wine & Food Festival; the flex ticket option for the Freihofer’s Saratoga Jazz Festival ($50 from midnight on 11/23 through 11/27; $56 from 11/28 through 12/31); and Holiday Gift Subscriptions to Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center at SPAC and Opera Saratoga.
“The Ultimate Classical Season Pass is the best kept ‘SPAC insider’ secret. What’s well known about these lawn passes is that they offer the opportunity to experience SPAC’s world class programming for the entire classical season – at an average ticket price of just $7 per performance – less than a movie ticket! What’s not well known, and a terrific bonus is that Classical Season Pass holders can also upgrade their ticket to best available seats 5 times per season — for just $5. It is our version of “rush” ticketing and often results in fabulous amphitheater seats. And the pass holder can still attend all other concerts on the lawn.”

In addition to the Ultimate Classical Season Pass, SPAC also announced that new in 2017, for every $50 gift certificate purchased from Thursday, November 23 at midnight – Sunday, December 31, participants will receive a $10 classical ticket credit.
The Black Friday promotion will become available online on Thursday, November 23 at midnight and will run until Monday, November 27 at 11:59 p.m. Following this flash sale, the Holiday Collection will continue to be available at a reduced rate until Sunday, December 31.
For those who prefer to purchase tickets on site, SPAC will open the Hall of Springs Box Office (108 Avenue of the Pines) on Saturday, December 16th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The regular Holiday Collection discount will apply with no processing fees or facility fees and audiences can enjoy hot chocolate, caroling and holiday cheer while making their purchase.
Ultimate Classical Season Pass:
The Ultimate Classical Season Pass includes lawn admission to all 2018 performances by New York City Ballet (July 17 – 21),* and The Philadelphia Orchestra (August 1 – 18).
*Excludes New York City Ballet Gala
Available for $150 on Thursday, November 23 at midnight until Monday, November 27 at 11:59 p.m. or $165 from Tuesday, November 28 – Sunday, December 31 (typically $185), or $7 per performance, the Pass also includes the option to upgrade five lawn tickets to the best available amphitheater seats for just $5.
SPAC Gift Certificates:
Gift Certificates to Saratoga Performing Arts Center’s performances, including the Freihofer’s Saratoga Jazz Festival, New York City Ballet, The Philadelphia Orchestra, The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, The Saratoga Wine and Food Festival, SPAC on Stage, Live Nation concerts and other special engagement performances, are available in any denomination.
New in 2017, for every $50 gift certificate purchased from Thursday, November 23 at midnight – Sunday, December 31, the buyer will receive a $10 classical ticket credit.
Freihofer’s Saratoga Jazz Festival Flex Lawn Ticket:
Back by popular demand is the flex lawn ticket to the Freihofer’s Saratoga Jazz Festival (June 23 – 24), allowing guests the opportunity to take advantage of the Holiday Collection without having to commit their attendance at either day of the festival. The flex ticket will be available for $50 from Thursday, November 23 at midnight until Monday, November 27 at 11:59 p.m. or $56 from Tuesday, November 28 – Sunday, December 31 (one-day lawn passes are typically $68) and can be used on either day of the Festival.
Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center at SPAC Holiday Gift Subscription:
New for 2017, SPAC is offering a Holiday Gift Subscription for the Chamber Music Society’s 2018 Season (August 5 – 21), which will showcase both the incredible talent of CMS artists and the extraordinary imagination of a diverse collection of chamber music composers. The offer includes seats to all six performances and starts at $240 (originally $288). This special is available from Thursday, November 23 at midnight – Sunday, December 31.
Opera Saratoga Holiday Gift Subscription:
Opera Saratoga’s 2018 Season (June 29th- July 15th) will showcase four operas: Franz Lehár’s rollicking operetta The Merry Widow, which returns to Opera Saratoga’s stage for the first time in 30 years; Gian Carlo Menotti’s Pulitzer Prize winning The Consul; and a double bill featuring David T. Little and Royce Vavrek’s Vinkensport, and the American Premiere of Rocking Horse Winner by Gareth Williams and Anna Chatterton — the first opera to prominently feature horse racing on Opera Saratoga’s stage. Through this special Holiday Offer, for just $99 (regular price $150) purchasers can give the gift of opera with a subscription to the 2018 Festival. This subscription offer includes tickets to all four of the operas (three productions), with seating options in the rear balcony or the side front orchestra (other seating options are available at different prices). This offer is only available for new subscribers and for gift subscriptions.

Purchasing fees will be waived for all Holiday Collection offers. On Saturday, December 16, Holiday Collection packages may be purchased in-person from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Hall of Springs Box Office (108 Avenue of the Pines).
